Twenty years is a long time to be together. One hour can be significantly longer. After a seemingly endless marriage of fighting, cheating, lies, threats and walk-outs (and some good, no doubt), Polly and Benjamin find themselves floating face-up in a river. Their car is wrecked, their bodies are broken and the odds are even that one of them will die. Only Polly and Ben aren’t there – Polly and Ben are here. On this stage, in front of these people, and they have one hour to convince an audience which of these broken bodies should survive.

After a successful critically acclaimed 22 show run at the Edinburgh Festival, Alan Flanagan's 'Irreconcilable Differences' is back for 3 nights only.

We are running the show next Friday, Saturday & Sunday(7th, 8th & 9th) from 9.15 to 10.15 pm in The Exchange Venue in Exchange Street Upper, Temple Bar. Tickets €10

Some praise for the show

"Ben (Killian Sheridan) and Polly (Laura Kelly) make this feel real; their acting is so convincing and complex.....The dynamic between these two actors grabs you with its fierce chemistry." - A Younger Theatre

"There is a strong emotional core at the heart of this narrative that cranks up to an almost impossible release." - BroadwayBaby

"This is a play that will hold you for its full hour and that you'll think and talk about afterwards" - Theatre Guide London

"Killian Sheridan and Laura Kelly give convincing and affecting performances, rooting the surreal tale in realism throughout" - FringeGuru

"solid, sparse drama with brave performances and lyrical writing" - Cream of the Fringe
