'The Way to Meet, Discover, and Experience' - a video by Turkish ESC Volunteer Ayşe Güneş Tan

Ayşe Güneş Tan is one of our European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteers, from Turkey. She arrived in Ireland in late January 2021. The video below is a fun and personal showcase of her time so far in Ireland. To read more about our ESC programme and what Güneş will do here whilst in Ireland, click here.
This video serves as the third in a series of pieces produced by our current ESC Volunteers on their time in Ireland so far and what Ireland has meant to them. To view the first one, a written reflection by fellow Turkish volunteer Özer Gökmen, click here.

Güneş describes this video as the experience of being in a new place, meeting a new culture, new experiences and many new lessons – all seen from her perspective.

Since arriving in Ireland, Güneş has had the opportunity to acclimatise to her new life in Ireland. This video serves as a little snippet into this acclimatisation, from her new home in Newbridge, the fellow volunteers and members of Kidlare Youth Theatre who she will work with for the next few months, as well as all the trips and places she has been to in Ireland so far.
