Our Youth Theatre, Kildare Youth Theatre will present The Heights by Lisa McGee on Thursday, 16th March at 8pm once only in Riverbank Arts Centre.
It will then be performed Saturday, 25th March at 7pm at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast.
The play is about a girl who is making up stories. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are sad, sometimes they are wonderful, sometimes they are terrible. But they are always just stories.
The Heights is a part of the 2023 Connections Festival, where youth theatres across the UK & Ireland choose one of 10 specially written plays to perform, with the best production of each play chosen and staged in the National Theatre of London.
Our young members have been rehearsing this play along with our directors Oguzhan Sahin and Carmen Ortiz Victorino.
